Many guests say "I don't think of myself as a guest" and "here doesn't feel much like an hostel". Thanks for these comments, we decided not to pursue that hostel-like atmosphere. we'd like to talk more with guests and we think it would be great if guests could chat with each other as well. 

So please come here as if they were visiting a friend’s home.

In fact, we often end up chatting with guests late into the night. So if you’re coming alone, don’t worry.

I believe such an atomosphere is one of the special aspects of "Hotori."
